The D word that holds it all together

No matter how you define it, no matter what it looks like, no matter the time of day you work towards it, no matter if it’s done at home or in the gym the MOST important thing when it comes to working toward your fitness goals is DEDICATION. You are not going to be motivated every day. You are not going to be firing on all cylinders every workout. You aren’t going to PR every workout either and guess what .... THATS OKAY! Its more than okay, it’s the norm and we all go through it. Our life is always going through ups and downs and with that comes a lot of joy but also a lot of shit. Listen to your body and what it needs but no matter what, stay dedicated to the LONG TERM goal- and yes that means taking rest days. Being dedicated doesn’t mean being a jerk to your body, it’s the exact opposite. Be dedicated to the recovery, the nutrition, the sleep, the hydration, the mindfulness, the everything YOU need to operate in a healthy balanced way. Dedication over motivation will carry you through, every. single. time.
